Pika Cave is the unofficial name given to the cave by a friend of Brendan Clark who trudged up there.
From the Ing’s Mine Parking area you follow the Canyon Creek Road down for approximately 4.5 kilometers. That’s close to an hour walk. The road is easily biked and would be about a 20 minute bike ride. From there, the hike up the mountainside to the cave is approximately 1 kilometer in length with about 300 meters of elevation gain. It’s quite steep and is a moderate scramble (no climbing equipment necessary). From the Canyon Creek Road where you drop your bike expect to take 30-45 minutes to hike up to the cave.
That’s approximately an hour bike and hike from the Ing’s Mine parking lot.
The cave itself probably only goes back about 10 meters, but it is very tall and very wide. It’s probably 12 meters deep x 20 meters wide x 8 meters high as a guess. The cave entrance is huge.

It’s a really neat obscure place to hike up to that can easily be reached after work. Fun for those who like an off-trail adventure. The ledge itself is 75 meters long, with the cliff above it being maybe 30-50 meters high. You have to ford a creek then walk up a nice mossy drainage. At the end of the drain are towering cliffs and a cool ledge. You can walk along the ledge. It is located from the south west side of the road. Be warned there are sulfuric smells in this area.
