Crowsnest Slabs AKA Knob Hill
FAs – unknown
A fun north facing slab to visit and worth the short pretty hike if your passing through and want to tie in for a bit of fun.
From Coleman, drive west 5-10 minutes to Crowsnest Lake where on a sharp bend is a massive pullout, park here.Be extremely careful and alert crossing the highway here. Find the trail that cuts through the sparse trees and it is easy to follow the closer it nears the limestone cliff.
A number of bolted easy-moderate climbs are found, pick one and go up as they all have bolted stations. Most are in the 5.7-5.9 range.
If you continue up right(west) and around to a slanting slab that faces due west, you can put the kids or grandparents on one of the easiest bolted routes (5.3) likely ever drilled! Have fun.
