Dutch Creek Boulder
A nice fun, quiet boulder with an approach of less than 5 minutes. A number of lines and variants have been done on the back west side, the front side facing the road is more chossy, has a crappy midway ledge, cobwebs, bad landings. Descend via the obvious wide lightning bolt crack.
Take Highway #517 from Maycroft and go west through the Gap and out onto a plain and soon you will come to a T-intersection. Left goes to Coleman, Racehorse campground and boulders, Daisy Creek random camping area and boulders, but you wanna go right. Follow this gravel road past a Warden station, then Dutch Creek Campground and continue north for about 3.5km. Watch for a locked gate on the left and the boulder may be visible through the trees. Park near this side road. Watch for grazing cows! Saunter up the secondary road around a bend to the boulder in less than 5 minutes. Bring a pad.
