In for the 8 Count, 5.6R 50m
FA- A.Matias, R.Felber and Meghan October 2013
This long Squamish like band of slab is found about 90 minutes up Rocky Creek in Kananaskis.
To date only one route has been done but there is potential for loads and loads more. This runout gear route is done near the right end of the slab wall where the cliff is shorter but there is other possible lines in the multi-pitch category.
Expect many creek crossings heading up Rocky Creek, maybe close to a dozen.
Prize Fighter Slab is what this section of rock has been named by the first ascentionists. Apparently it is littered with runnels, cracks and grooves and they estimate one could do 30 or more separate lines.
Bring double ropes to rappel.
