Ti-Jurabi-Chubi Sibbald Campground
This Ti-Jurabi-Chubi can be found in the vicinity of the Sibbald Lake Campground. Do not remove or disturb any part of the structure which is very weather-beaten.
From the Sibbald Road, drive into Sibbald Lake Campground, and once you leave the trees, look west(to the left) and out in the cow dung covered grass field is the structure. Best to park as for the lake and walk over as the road has lots of vehicle traffic for the campground and lake.
The hill above to the north is a pleasant stroll up and the trail takes you to the top in about 15 minutes. The trail starts from the parking lot or down the Sibbald Lake Trail just NW of Ti-Jurabi-Chubi and across the tiny creek, walk west along the trail for a few minutes until a path heads up into some alder forest. The ‘summit’ has one or two funky benches and beautiful views.
If you walk directly west from Ti-Jurabi-Chubi you will come to the shores of a pretty lake- walk left into the forest were a wide, generally muddy trail heads west into some rather unlike forest for here which is thick and moss covered on the branches.
Watch for cows and loads of cow pooh! A fun place to wander about and chill out.
